Brantford 99ers

The Brantford 99ers, a Junior A hockey team, played in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) from 2019 to 2024. Originally the Milton Icehawks, the team relocated to Brantford and became the 99ers, playing their home games at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. Known for fostering local talent and competitive play, the 99ers achieved notable improvements under the leadership of head coach Mark Joslin in their final season. Starting in the 2024-2025 season, the team is moving to King Township and will be rebranded as the King Rebellion, with games to be held at the new Township-Wide Recreation Centre.

Brantford Bulldog

The Brantford Bulldogs are an exciting junior ice hockey team that competes in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Originally known as the Hamilton Bulldogs, they temporarily relocated to Brantford due to arena renovations. The Bulldogs have a strong history, including winning the OHL Championship in the 2021-22 season. They are known for their dynamic players, such as Jake O’Brien and Marek Vanacker, who have shown impressive performances in recent pre-seasons.
